  • Assessment & Certification Process

    Certification is awarded upon successful completion of the CMPPM™ examination, which evaluates knowledge across the full Body of Knowledge. The assessment is designed to validate both conceptual understanding and practical application; it consists of 50 multiple choice questions in one hour, with 70% correct answers required to pass.

    The certification includes up to two attempts to achieve a passing score. Candidates who do not pass on the first attempt may retake the exam after further review and preparation. Each attempt is designed to independently assess competency across the full Body of Knowledge (Each exam attempt uses a different set of questions covering the same topics).

    Candidates who meet the certification requirements are formally recognized as Certified Manufacturing Project & Program Managers by the Manufacturing Excellence Institute®.
